ZikBooks - Billing, Inventory & Business Management is a business management software for GST invoices, purchases, sales returns, quotations, inventory, party ledger, expenses, staff management, reports and business records.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect information when you use ZikBooks through web, mobile browser, PWA or related services.

Information We Collect

• Account information such as name, email address, mobile number, company name, role and login identifiers.
• Business data entered by you, including invoices, purchases, returns, quotations, stock, customers, suppliers, ledger, expenses, staff salary, reports and attachments.
• Device, browser, IP address, error logs and usage information required for security, fraud prevention and service improvement.
• Payment information processed by Razorpay or other payment partners. ZikBooks does not store full card, UPI PIN or bank authentication credentials.

Google Sign-In and Google Drive

Google Sign-In is used for authentication and account identification. Google Drive permission is requested only when you choose to connect Drive backup. Drive access is used to create or manage backup files requested by you. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

How We Use Information

• To provide billing, inventory, reports, backup, restore, account and support features.
• To secure accounts, detect misuse and maintain audit records.
• To process subscriptions, invoices and payment confirmations.
• To communicate product updates, service notices and support responses.

Sharing and Third-Party Services

We may use trusted service providers such as hosting providers, Google services, Razorpay and communication tools. Information is shared only as necessary to operate the service, process payments, comply with law or protect users and the platform.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should keep their devices, Google accounts and login credentials secure and should maintain appropriate backups for important business records.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained while your account is active or as required for service, legal, accounting, audit, dispute resolution and security purposes. You may request account or data deletion through the Contact page, subject to applicable laws and legitimate retention requirements.

Children

ZikBooks is intended for business users and is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law.
